j. alden (she/they), (also known as Jen Jakob) is a poet and editor currently based in Ottawa, Ontario. She identifies as a genderfluid lesbian, and much of her poetry gravitates towards sapphic love and desire with strong influences from both classic and contemporary literature. She holds a Master of Arts in English Literature from Queen’s University, and has been previously published in QT Literary magazine, The Lamp, Eavesdrop Magazine, and other independent zines. They also edit for flo. literary magazine in Ottawa as their poetry editor.
