Scott Alain draws his inspiration from the sounds and citizens of downtown Ottawa. Growing up in the city, he tries to capture its atmosphere and the essence of its inhabitants in his work. As an emerging young writer, he has recently begun to enjoy publication from Canadian firms including The Steel Chisel, Bywords, In/Words, and Contemporary Verse 2.
