Fred Gardiner

Fred Gardiner is a Canadian writer of both fiction and nonfiction. His self-published book, Ten Bike Tours In And Around Toronto, sold over 3,500 copies and inspired a new generation of cyclists to explore the hinterland of Canada's largest city in the 1980s. He grew up in Ottawa, went to Merivale, Philomen Wright Regional and Canterbury High Schools. He currently lives on a woodlot near River Bourgeois, Cape Breton.
