Margo LaPierre

Margo’s debut book of poetry, Washing Off the Raccoon Eyes, is forthcoming by Guernica Editions in Fall 2017. Her poems have been published (or are pending publication) in filling Station, The Feathertale Review, Echolocation, Bywords Literary Quarterly, The Riveter Review, The Antigonish Review, Petal Journal, and in EAT IT: A Literary Cookbook of Food, Sex, and Feminism. Her writing is connected to Canadian urban themes, memory, mental illness and feminist concerns, and focuses on the way human relationships and physical space structure experience. She has been mentored by poets Hoa Nguyen and Elana Wolff. Margo currently lives in Toronto. www.margolapierre.com
