Maureen Glaude

Maureen Glaude enjoys mixed identities as a Wellington Street Poet, a Brownwood Writer, a Sasquatch regular and former Board Director, as well as a Pachyderm Poet, all in her hometown of Ottawa. Her Back to the Daffodils achieved Second Prize in the Ray Burrell Award 2005 (Valley Writers'Guild). She also won Second Prize with "Fallen Petals" in The Ontario Poetry Society (TOPS) Unlocking the Muse anthology, Spring-Summer 2005. Maureen contributed two tanka to the Fall/Winter 2005 issue of "Gusts" Contemporary Tanka Journal (Tanka Canada), and another to their Spring/Summer 2005 debut issue. She's won awards in the Canadian Authors Association in both the Free and Structured Verse categories. Memberships include kado Ottawa, Haiku Canada and Tanka Canada.
