Jay Rankin is a Carleton University master journalism candidate and holds an MA in creative writing from the University of Windsor. He coedited the Black Moss Press poetry and creative nonfiction collection Saying Yes and has had poems appear in the Black Moss Press books Disturbances: 16 Voices in the Shadows and Whisky Sour City, as well as the 2015 Poetry Lives Here issue of Contemporary Verse 2. Jay loves pizza and comics, sometimes in combination (he also has a cool cat named Zeus).
