Julia Peneva

Born in Bulgaria, Julia Peneva moved to the city of Ottawa at the age of 14 and has called it her home for almost 20 years. Studied at Algonquin College’s Creative Writing Program and at the University of Ottawa’s Science program, Julia’s passions have always been writing and nature, with the themes of eco preservation a prevalent force in her works. She currently lives with her husband and parents and continues to be an avid reader and writer.
