Blaine Marchand's poetry and prose has appeared in magazines across Canada and in the US and he has won several prizes for his writing. His two most recent books are, Aperture (2008) and The Craving of Knives (2010). He is currently working on two manuscripts of poetry, Where You Dwell and My Head, Filled With Pakistan, as well as a collection of short stories, Nomads.
