Mark Frutkin

Mark Frutkin lives in Ottawa. He has published 19 books including fiction, non-fiction and four collections of poetry. His poetry collections have been published by Quattro Press, Goose Lane Editions, Beach Holme and Cormorant. His work has also been included in collections from Cinquefoil and Mosaic. Two of his collections of poetry have been short finalists for the Ottawa Book Award. His work of fiction based on the life of the famous French poet, Guillaume Apollinaire, titled Atmospheres Apollinaire, was a finalist for the Governor General’s Award for fiction. Also, his novel, Fabrizio’s Return, set in Cremona, Italy, won the Trillium Award in 2006.
