Jay Heins

Jay Heins was born and raised in the Ottawa Valley. Jay's poetry examines family, the body, aging, grief, and loss. He holds a BFA from University of Ottawa and has held a weird mix of jobs throughout his working life: certified journeyman chef, fine art handler, art director and tech consultant. Jay lives in Ottawa with Tanya and Samuel.
