Editor’s Notes

Greetings Readers,

Our January 15 reading raised $300 for Cornerstone. Thanks to all who donated, the poets & our musical performer, Andrea Simms-Karp. The next reading takes place on May 15 to launch the first issue of our tenth year publishing the Bywords Quarterly Journal. It's been a pleasure to publish poets and artists in the BQJ for the last ten years. Time flies when you're doing something you love. Thanks to the various members of the selection committee who've been essential to this publishing endeavour.

Literature is thriving in Ottawa in the winter months. Hope you get a chance to attend a reading or the upcoming VERSeFest at the end of this month & Ottawa International Writers Festival in April.
