A Visit to Sea Word

Bel low
the soft & slightly
itchy spread

the rugose rose
half-open, manifold

flesh, its venerable
tenderness

the fold
is/not
Nature

the felt fold
in her

but text
sure, choral soft
conch or bark of
pliable tree –

a pinch of petal-flesh
an unending enfolding
             pliable pleat
implicate, replicate
in, through, upon and beneath

her
is clamouring for penetration but
its glamour
may be
            my imagination's
snatch

at you: the camouflage
of my cunning flytrap
trying to take in
your shy tongue.
